Yesterday, at the opening of the BC Space Gallery exhibition of Amerikan Krazy: Life Out of Balance, author Henry James Korn read chapter 18 entitled “Inside the Whale” of his debut novel Amerikan Krazy to a packed house that quickly became standing room only.

A number of local politicians and candidates were in attendance along with a variety of the other artists being featured in the gallery as well as a fantastic cross section of the community.
Unfortunately Mr. Korn won’t be performing live readings of his new novel every day for the next month through May 20th, but you’ll be continually astounded for the entire time you’re there emoting over all of the work on display in an exhibition that is not only aptly named but touches on many aspects of the cultural zeitgeist.

One patron said, “I walked through the gallery half a dozen times over four hours and was continually amazed by new things I’d run into that I somehow hadn’t seen on my first passes, or I’d experience new emotions in pieces I’d spent time studying after coming back to them after viewing others.”
For more information on the exhibition which runs through May 20, 2016, you can see a variety of details here or at the gallery’s site.
