Author Henry Korn will be doing a reading and book signing at Lenny’s Deli in West Los Angeles on May 1st
Yesterday, at the opening of the BC Space Gallery exhibition of Amerikan Krazy: Life Out of Balance, author Henry James Korn read chapter 18 entitled “Inside the Whale” of his debut novel Amerikan Krazy to a packed house that quickly became standing room only.
Amerikan Krazy novelist Henry James Korn is slated to appear at the curated exhibit “Amerikan Krazy: Life Out of Balance” featuring the work of over twenty notable southland artists.
Henry may have a few choice things to say about the privatization of the Orange County Great Park in the context of his novel Amerikan Krazy which is also about the corporate capture of every single square inch of public and private psychological and physical space in the universe.
HUGE thanks to everyone who caucused at the Super Wednesday launch party for Amerikan Krazy by Henry James Korn at Chevalier’s Books, one of Southern California’s premier independent booksellers. This venerable Los Angeles literary Mecca, founded in 1940, drew a standing room only crowd comprising lovers of socio-political satire and art, film, and book world friends of the author and publisher.
Henry James Korn’s first book Exact Change, now available as an e-book, is a collection of short form fiction that includes memorable stories King Kong in the Kitchen, The Condemned of Altoona, and One Thing Perfectly Clear. It also contains one of his earliest modular experimental efforts The Pontoon Manifesto which was published separately in a variety of formats.
We’ll be launching Amerikan Krazy on March 2, 2016 at Chevalier’s Books in Los Angeles.
